Lauren Agresti

Lauren Agresti worked for Eli Lilly for 9 years prior to moving the Golden Isles with her Husband Nicholas and their two children.  Lauren is passionate about helping others enjoy healthy, active lifestyles and co-owns “Shore Fitness”.  Lauren has a BS and with her background in health sciences, wants to encourage children’s interest in science and the world around them.  The Agresti’s love to travel to children’s museums across the US and want to make Kids Port a destination worthy of cross-country travel as well as a fun and educational resource for the Golden Isles. 

Sarah Callaway

Sarah’s professional career has spanned from covering NASCAR and producing reality television to currently owning a local bagel shop, Sandy Bottom Bagels.  As a small business owner she has had the opportunity to connect with the community in many ways and is very passionate about bringing a fun and educational play space to the Golden Isles.   Sarah and her husband Justin have three very active boys who enjoy sports, riding bikes and nerf gun wars. Sometimes though they just need to get inside,  out of the bugs and mud, which is why Kids Port is a must!

Kaitlin Carpenter

Kaitlin Carpenter is a St. Simons native, wife to Brandon, mother of three, and birth doula. Kaitlin is excited to have returned to the Golden Isles to raise her children in the same place that holds so many great memories of growing up. She hopes that as part of the Kids Port board, she can help to create those same feelings for her children and those all around the Golden Isles. She is passionate about inclusion, accessibility and fun!

Nicole deSibour Rodgers

Nicole deSibour Rodgers is a policy and communications professional who grew up inside the Beltway in Washington, D.C. where, she founded Capitol Hill Communications, a boutique advocacy, political strategy, and communications firm. She brings over a decade of lobbying, political strategy, and fundraising experience with corporations, trade associations, firms and campaigns. Nicole and her husband, Rick, moved their family to St. Simons Island to enjoy better quality of life and a small-town upbringing for their children. Nicole leads the Kids Port board of directors, is president of the Junior League of the Golden Isles, chairman of the Early Literacy Academy, and a board member for the Wesley Academy of Early Learning. She serves on the Long-Term Planning Commission Steering Committee for Glynn County. She is passionate about improving the quality of life and education for all children in Glynn County, and is excited about making the vision of Kids Port a reality!

Geri Lynn Mullis

Geri Lynn Mullis moved to the Golden Isles in 2010 from Charlotte, NC. She and her husband Marcus are the parents of two sweet and spunky little girls. When not being mom, Geri Lynn is the director of the public libraries in Glynn County. Her love of books, education, and fun are at the heart of her work and home life.

John Hunter

John Hunter – a native of Marietta, Georgia, holds a BA in History from Mississippi State University and an MA in History from Georgia College & State University. His studies focused on Colonial Georgia history. He has over 20 years of experience in historic preservation, planning, and museum education focused in Georgia. Today, he lives in Brunswick, Georgia and is Director of Planning, Development & Codes with the City of Brunswick. He has been married to Neely Woods Hunter since 1996, and has two adult children.
